2012 Jones Road “The Nepean” Chardonnay. Mornington Peninsula. 13%

Melons, nectarine and white peach. Your usual Chardonnay descriptors. What got me about this wine is its lovely creamy texture, good persistence and juicy acids. Has a real beautiful, vibrant energy. Quick note, had guests over for dinner. Beautiful

2012 Garagiste Vintners Le Stagiaire Rosé. Mornington Peninsula. 13%

Very bright pink in colour. Looks like it could be sweet, but it is far from. Pleasant, savoury dry Rosé. Strawberry, white pepper, lemongrass, ginger and mangosteen. Moderate length. Intriguing. Tasted 11th July 2013 Approximately $25 from The Wine

2011 Paradigm Hill Transition Rosé. Mornington Peninsula. Vic. 12.2%

100% Shiraz Rosé. 6 months barrel maturation. Looks can be deceiving. This wine is bone dry. No residual sugar. This is the first rosé I have come across with Tannins. Wonderful mouthfeel and texture. Excellent length. Sour cherries and strawberries
