2007 Rivetto “Zio Nando”, Barbera D’Alba DOC, Italy. 14.5%

      100% Barbera grape. Juicy, gluggable wine. Sour cherries, balsamic reduction, woody herbs. Nice dusty tannins. Has ample acidity to go well with most rustic Italian dishes. Mid weight. Bit of roast pan juices tip this more towards the

  Juicy bright cherries. Chinotto, dash of coffee and hints of potpourri. Tannins and acids frame this wine beautifully. Juicy, lip smacking acids that makes you want to reach for another glass. Delicious and recommended. Tasted 16th May 2013 $55
