2012 Roc d’Anglade Rouge. Languedoc

Vibrant purple in appearance

This is a wine full of energy that is lively on the palate. Certainly wakes the palate up! Brambly, dark fruits. sour strap cherries, crushed graphite and some soy like umami along with Licquorice. Touch of forest floor adds interest. Medium bodied with mouth-watering, bright acidity and a very long after taste.

Captivating wine and is well worth giving it a nudge for interests sake.

Tasted 19th March 2015
