2010 Howling Wolves “Red Wolf” Sangiovese. Margaret River. 13.2%

Subtle nose of plums, cherries, leather, milk chocolate and black tea.

Howling Wolves "Red Wolf" Sangiovese

Medium bodied wine. Nice sweet / sour thing going on in this wine. Sweet plums countered by sour red cherries. Milk chocolates, notes of thyme and rosemary, tobacco hints and cinnamon. Crisp acidity and fine, grippy tannins finish this wine off nicely. Moderately long finish.

Great food wine and I think will match BBQ’s quite well. Rosemary and garlic marinated lamb chops? Sausages? Pizza? Why not! Ideal for when you don’t want something too heavy to drink.

Pretty good value drinking.
