2012 Wantirna Estate Isabella Chardonnay. Yarra Valley. 13%

I had friends over sharing this wine, but scribbled down some notes anyway.

Wantirna Estate Isabella Chardonnay

Nectarines galore. Lemon pith, toasted almonds along with a creamy, nutty, almost crunchy texture. Juicy acidity of red grapefruits. Multilayered, powerful and complex. Well judged oak.

I just could not find the words do not do this wine justice. Outstanding juice.

Tasted 25th May 2014

$60 from online retailer Winestar
