2010 Les Jardins de Babylone. Jurancon Sec. 12.5%

Another wine had while away in Paris. This is a white wine from famed Dagueneau family in conjunction with the Pautrat Family.

Les Jardins de Babylone. Jurancon Sec

This dry white wine from the Jurancon area of France is made from the Petit Manseng variety.

Light hay in colour. Yummy wine with flavours of fresh apricots and lychee.

Background flavours of candied cumquats and pressed sugar cane juice.

Great cleansing acids. Wonderful flinty minerality.

Energy and complexity plus. WOW! Worth every cent. Stunning.

Wishing I tried this on my first day in Paris, not my last. Could easily have sunk a few more bottles.

Excellent wine.

Approx $55 euro
