Merry Christmas and thank you so much for reading and following what I do on here, my Facebook page and twitter feed. It’s been great receiving your feedback, contributions and opinions in wine along the way.
Things are going to be pretty quiet around here for the next month. I’m celebrating Christmas here in Perth. After that, I’m off with the family to Europe. Amsterdam, Maastricht, Paris and London await our discovery. Looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.
While I’m away, Facebook will be my main form of communication if you want to see what I’m up to on my travels.
What’s in store for my 2014?
I hope to well and truly have made it to the 100 milestone of our wine century tasting. As a group, we made it to 66 different grape varieties this year. Had some great discussions along the way and tried some interesting wines.
I’m looking forward to attending the WSET 2 wine course in the new year at the wine education centre being run by Full Bottle. Decided it’s time to formalise my wine knowledge. Should be an interesting experience.
What else for 2014? No other solid plans at the moment, other than bringing you more of the wines I’m trying and my quick thoughts on them.
Again, I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy new year.
As always, I welcome your feedback, interactions and also letting me know what you are drinking as well.
