Château Sénéjac

A cabernet merlot based wine that does not smack you over the head.

Gentle, quiet aromas of blackcurrant, a floral lift of pot-pourri and slight earthiness. Translates well onto the palate with fine grained tannins and fresh acidity gently frame this wine. This is more about structure and poise than about obvious juicy fruit.

A Good introduction to the wines of Bordeaux.

$65 from Steves Fine Wine and Food.
