2011 Ipso Facto Chenin. Margaret River. 13%

Handpicked, whole bunch pressed. Wild ferment in barrel. Lees stirred. 9 months in French oak

2011 Ipso Facto Chenin

Back label says “Nashi pear and Lime curd”.

Agree with that completely. It’s like biting into a crunchy nashi pear, skins, juicy flesh and refreshing acids. Lemon and Lime curd brulee with a gentle grating of fresh ginger.

Very good follow up on the excellent 2010 vintage.

Tasted 4th August 2013
