Primarily made from the Garganega grape with smaller percentages of Sauvignon Blanc and Soarin.
Mid Straw in colour.
Very honeysuckle with herbal overtones. Hints of residual sugar give this a nicely rounded viscous palate.
Aspects of nettle, asparagus and candied lemon.
With breathing, this continues to reveal deeper, more savoury layers. Has a quality that reminds me of celery, carrots and onions frying off in butter.
More vegetal than fruity. Very deep and long lasting on the palate. Minerals, salt, lemon peel on the finish. Complex, bitter sweet finish.
Can’t help but think this would be a perfect match with a rabbit risotto.
Lot’s happening on the palate and it continually changes.
Love this wine. Highly recommended you seek out and try and bottle.
