2010 Sauvion Dilection Chinon. 12.5%

Sauvion Dilection

100% Cabernet Franc

Nice refreshing red wine. Mid weight.

Interesting to see a Cabernet Franc stand alone, instead of being in a blend like it usually is.

Bright cherries, minty oil and lifted oregano. Raspberry laced crunchy meringue.

Nice backbone. High toned acid.

Good, solid wine.

Approx $45 from Steve’s Fine Wine and Food.

Tasted 5th March 2013
