2011 Sauvion Chemin des Roses. Appellation Cabernet D’Anjou, France. 11.5%

Sauvion Chemin des Roses

A Rosé made from 100% Cabernet Franc.

Some residual sweetness. More medium dry.

Raspberry and strawberry juice.

A very round, soft palate with minimal acid.

Grating of young ginger. Rose petal perfume. Reminds me of Turkish Delight with orange peel in it.

A good wine, but not my style.

Tasted 5th March 2013

Brought by a house guest who purchased at Steve’s
