2011 Hoddles Creek “1er” Pinot Blanc. Yarra Valley. 12%

Hoddles Creek "1er" Pinot Blanc

Pale straw in colour.

Lean and zesty.

Has a nice round mouthfeel.

Bath salts like acidity.

Lemongrass and lots of pithy citrus flavours.

Hints of curry leaf and some bitter almonds.

If I’m going to get a touch fussy, then perhaps a touch too much acid when had by itself.

Enjoyable and refreshing.

Been in the fridge for a while. Think I might have purchased this from Wine Box in Nedlands.

Tasted 25th February 2013
