2009 El Wanderer “Carinyena”. Catalunya, Spain. 13.5%

Persistent length, ripe fruit.

Dried herbs.

Slippery mouth feel.

A more modern style of Spanish wine.

The structure and tannins do not grip you as much as the more traditional styles.

Because of this, it can be enjoyed without food.

A delicious, mid weight wine that rings of purity.

Get the feeling this wine is best enjoyed in a quiet situation.

As much as I enjoyed this, at $65, I question the value proposition.

Sourced from Steve’s.
