2011 Castel Firmian Muller Thurgau, Trentino, Italy. 12%

First meeting and chat went well for the wine century challenge.

Met at Steves in Nedlands. Michael, at Steves had just the white wine for us to try.

A Muller Thurgau from Italy.

Lovely wine. Crunchy apples, beautiful acid profile.

Great texture. Spicy. Powdered lemon sherbet.

Slight salt / minerality. Zingy wine that had us thinking about food.

Well worth the price.

Approx $35 from Steves

Tasted 12th December 2012
