2010 Gerard Boulay Mont Damnes. Sancerre, France 13%.

IMG_1125

The area of Sancerre makes Sauvignon Blanc.

No tropical, passionfruit flavours for this Savvy Blanc!

Refreshing, zesty pineapple. Minerals, sprinkle of salt. Beautiful line and length.

Nice cleansing acids at the end that makes you reach for another glass.

A textural wine, in that it has zest, acids and a creamy note as well.

Shimmers with life.

Approx $65 from www.internationalfinewines.com.au

Tasted 11th December 2012
