Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec
Was chatting the other day with someone who said they never had a cabernet from New Zealand. Was thinking about that when I pulled this from the cellar the next day.
Very mouth filling. Brambley, dried herbs. Cassis. Spicy. Hint of menthol.
In a strange way, my mouth feels like I’ve just brushed my teeth. Has this spicy, refreshing character.
Well balanced, but still a bit young.
Good solid cabernet blend.
