2012 Castle Rock Estate. Great Southern Riesling. WA. 12%

Controlled precision for this dry Riesling.

Seems to have everything in check.

Lemons and Lime? Tick.

Minerals and cleansing acid? Tick.

Splash of cold tea & green apples? Tick.

Good mouthfeel? Yep.

Has everything going for it, but just seems too controlled and boring.

A good, solid wine with no “zing” factor.

Surprised me, as this wine has been very favourably reviewed.
