Straight out of the bottle and immediately its aroma and flavour profile point to Adelaide Hills Shiraz.
This is cool climate, spicy Shiraz. More spice than fruit.
Cloves, cinnamon & sneezy pepper with clean red fruits coming through at the end.
It was very youthful and took awhile to wake this from its slumber.
To me, it suggests a few more years will help unfurl its potential.
A solid effort. Fan’s of big, ripe, Barossa Shiraz need not apply
Found this down at Dan Murphy’s for about $17
