1994 Orlando St Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon. Coonawarra. 13.5%

An old soldier of classic Australian wine, from a time before they bastardised the St Hugo label.

Perfectly cellared.

Still youthful. Still primary fruit of black currants and just entering the secondary phase of soy and leather.

Great persistence. Sublime wine that rewards immensely.
