2011 Barton Jones “The Shilly – Shally” Chenin Blanc. Geographe. W.A. 13%

Huge aroma of freshly cut pineapple.

Follows through on the palate with starfruits and a pinch of ginger.

Slippery lanolin mouthfeel.

The French oak on this gives it a nice creamy texture.

Good lingering aftertaste. Has some sweetness.

Can see this paring very well with Chinese roast pork. Very good.

Approx $22 from Steve’s Fine Wine and Food

Tasted 19th November 2012
