2004 Felix Callejo “Gran Callejo” Gran Reserva. Ribera Del Duero, Spain. 14.5%.

100% Tempranillo.

WOW! Cracker of a wine.

Ripe fruit, fresh herbs. Rosemary, oregano.

Firm grippy tannins. Great texture.

Hard to describe this wine, it’s just really good.

Made the 2003 Yalumba Octavious that we had as well look really simple.

Approx $95 from online retailer www.internationalfinewines.com.au

Tasted 23rd October 2012
