1999 Rockford Cabernet Sauvignon. Barossa Valley

1999 Rockford Cabernet Sauvignon. Barossa Valley. 14%

This wine is now called the “Rifle Range”

Amazingly still very young looking. No brown edges yet. Hints of soy and deep dark fruits. Some tobacco. Very well balanced and resolved. Has good structure on the palate.

Still a very lively wine that is not showing any signs of tiring. Enjoyable.

Approx $30 at Sterling Wine auctions. Rolled the auction dice and came out a winner

Tasted in June 2012. Didn’t happen to take a picture of this one.
